True Tunes Out and About This Spring!

With the pandemic receding, and the weather warming up, I am excited to have several events in the coming weeks and months.

The Awaken Conference (Nashville) March 18-19

Author and podcast host Keith Giles is bringing together a group of speakers and musicians with the goal to “…gather together to find common ground and practical resources for reconstructing our faith in God, Christ, Spirituality, and everything else.” I’ll be there for the lunch break on the 19^th, spinning some records and talking with folks about how music has helped me cultivate discernment and maintain hope and sanity in these crazy days. Our friend Derek Webb is also scheduled to appear.

Audiofeed Festival, Champaign IL, June 30-July 3

We are excited to be returning to Audiofeed in Champaign IL on June 30 and July 1. I will be speaking, doing some live podcast interviews, and maybe even sharing an acoustic set of my own music with The Wayside. The specifics are still coming together, but I can tell you that Pedro The Lion and Woven Hand have been confirmed – so it’s worth the trip already. Hopefully you’ve heard about this show already on the podcast, but tickets are selling fast and YOU should come. Chagall Guevara will return to the stage for the first time in 30 years – with the incredible Over The Rhine opening. True Tunes will be on hand – as will I personally!
